The answer is yes...in two different ways.
The TerraTrike mesh seat frame has two smaller diameter horizontal seat brace tubes that are side-by-side in the
center. This means we can't use a mountain bike stem as the base for the CURVE 2 kit. Also, the geometry of some of the TerraTrikes, especially those with reclining seats and 26" rear wheels, means there is little to no room between the seat back
and the rear wheel to mount a fully adjustable CURVE kit...until now. So what are the two ways?
1. Check our home page to see the new adapter kit that uses TerraCycle clampls and allows TerraTrike owners to mount CURVE kits.
2. Some TerraTrike owners have purchased the stock neck rest, they are okay with the mounting hardware but not with the neck rest itself. They want something more comfortable.
A Model 2 CURVE neck rest and "T" tower will fit the stock TerraTrike neck rest hardware. Click the diagram on the right to see how a CURVE can be mounted to TerraTrike hardware.
To be totally honest, the only downside to this conversion we can see is the cost. In essence you end up buying two neck rests. But we don't design seat frames, we just make kits to fit them...when we can.
Because there are many trike manufacturers and each mone makes more than one model, the same CURVE kit will not fit all of them. Also, not every rider is the same height and body proportions.
For the most common trikes like Catrike, ICE, Greenspeed and Trident, when you order all I'll need to know is your trike's make and model, and also how tall you are. For other brands, just to be sure to get the CURVE kit that will fit your trike perfectly take a look at the diagram below. It will enlarge if you click on it.
When you submit your order on the "Prices and Ordering" page you can give me all this information except the picture of the back of your trike's seat. If I need the picture I'll let you know.
